I’m Evan Tann, a photographer based in Portugal.
Most of my work is shot on 35mm film with a Leica M2, a fully mechanical camera from the late 1950s, and some on a digital Leica M262. Film slows me down. With 36 frames a roll and no screen to check, every picture has to be chosen.
The editions
Each photograph is sold as a limited edition of 50 prints per size. I sign and number every print by hand, and once a size sells out, it’s gone for good.
How prints are made
Prints are made to order by a professional fine-art print lab. Each one then comes to me to be checked, signed, and numbered before it ships. It takes about two weeks from your order to dispatch. I’d rather take the time and get each one right.
